Mosaic wants to walk alongside couples to provide meaningful and practical help for marriages just as they are beginning, are feeling stuck or are in crisis. There are four different ways marriages can receive support at Mosaic:
Mosaic wants to help build a strong foundation for marriages before they even start. Pre-marital counseling is a great way to prepare for marriage.
Mosaic partners with a few trusted, licensed counselors in the Portland area to help facilitate this foundation. These four to six meetings lead couples through a self-evaluation program that provides insight and practical ideas to help strengthen the couple’s relationship.
Mosaic believes that walking in community with others is essential to health as we follow Jesus. Life Groups are smaller communities where we gather to grow as disciples of Jesus and live out his mission. We encourage anyone who calls Mosaic home, single or married, to get connected in a Life Group. Having healthy supportive friendships with other Jesus followers and investing in those relationships will provide support for your marriage.

Mosaic has a team of mentor couples who offer guidance and support. In partnership with a professional counselor, mentoring couples come alongside marriages in need of support. All mentor couples have been married at least 15 years and have worked through struggles in their own marriages, and are a great resource for those struggling in their marriage.
Mosaic provides marriage events to support and encourage relationships at a broader level. In 2015 Mosaic held two events.
A panel of three Mosaic couples shared about beauty and pain in their own marriages. This included a time of questions and answers that were honest and helpful. What they found was that following Jesus together was the best way for their marriage to continue to be strong.
Mosaic couples learned how to appreciate differences, work through conflict, and create a shared vision. Sarah Case, a marriage and family therapist, taught each night leading couples to practice new skills as they discussed in small groups.
