What is Missional?

The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, —John 1:14 (MSG) The hope of the Good News of Jesus is that we are made new, transforming, and experiencing more and more of a kingdom-of-heaven reality in every area of our lives. But, aligning the patterns of our lives with this truth proves challenging, especially facing our cultural values of convenience and individuality. Just as Jesus put on flesh in his incarnation, so must learn to embody and live the reality of being the beloved co-heirs of his Kingdom and co-laborers in his mission. Together, we’ll explore how to love God with all of us, and what it means to make disciples, trusting that Jesus is with us now!
