Local Partners

»The Free Clothing Exchange: Founded by a group of Mosaic families nearly a decade ago, the FCE community exists to provide and share clothing resources with neighbors in North Portland and beyond.

During the pandemic, the FCE pivoted in April from in-person events to online clothing requests that we deliver directly to those in need, safely and contact free.

We are still taking donations of gently used and like-new clothing. Socks and underwear must be new and in unopened packaging. Specific needs are updated regularly on the website.

We are looking for volunteers to take on two weeks per month to fulfill clothing request orders and deliver. Generally, the volunteer goes to the storage facility once per week to pick clothes out for all the orders that came in from that week, then deliver the clothes. Due to COVID, only one family can do this at a time. It is a family friendly and safe way to help others!
