Leaders in Training

Jesus reaches people and builds his church on servant leaders. Mosaic develops young leaders who long for God to do this work through them, by training them to serve local churches and church plants. The volunteer Mosaic Leader-in-Training (LIT) process helps young men and women:

  • Know God, self, and his call on their lives.
  • Learn and practice essential leadership skills.
  • Develop a biblically-formed, missional way of thinking and living.

Each LIT works with a Mosaic pastor and a spiritual mentor, and commits a minimum of 10 hours per week for two years*.

“I have really grown in my confidence and comfort as a leader.  I was hesitant at the beginning and second guessing everything I did.  Now I am better at taking initiative, being confident in who I am in Christ, and communicating to my coach, mentor, R&R team, and the women in my life group.” – Laurel C.

“It was great to have an older man in my life consistently listening to my life. Hearing my hopes, cheering me on in my dreams, and listening to my struggles…my mentor helped me realize that the struggles of life that I went through were okay.” – Charlie P.

“The LIT process helped me grow as a leader, as a husband, and individual and a child of God.” – Brian F.
